Professional ExperiencePervez N. Ghauri has worked in an international bank (3 years as branch manager) and serves as consultant for the International Trade Centre (ITC/UNCTAD) in Geneva, Airbus Industries in France, Norwegian Export Council in Norway; Ericsson, Sweden; Shook, Hardy & Bacon, UK and the Foreign Investment Agency at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands and he sits on the Board of Directors of Centre of International Business at Leeds University Business School in the UK. He is director for International Business Research Centre at Manchester Business School, UK. For consultancy work, his specialisation includes: Marketing issues, sales force training and management, business negotiations, entry strategies into foreign markets and policy issues relating to international trade and investment. Professor Ghauri has served on several review panels all over the world. He was member of the committee to review International Business Programs at Auckland University, New Zealand. He has also served as external assessor for professorships at Strathclyde Business School, Loughborough University UK, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and Norwegian School of Management, Norway.
